TRE-FIX™ is a patent pending fastening system that joins three or more furniture leg components in a trefoil or polyfoil arrangement. TRE-FIX™ enables the rapid assembly of robust structures and furniture from minimal components.

At the core of the preferred TRE-FIX™ fastening system design are three screws embedded in three round tubular components arranged in a trefoil formation. The screws form a triangular central hub that clamps the tubular components together, with clamping forces directed toward the centre of the assembly. This, along with each tubular component being fastened directly to the other two tubular components, forms an exceptionally rigid and durable connection.

Screws in the TRE-FIX™ fastening system screw into threaded holes pierced in the adjoining tubular components. This enables the screws to be entirely contained within the tubular components enhancing safety and aesthetics.
